Reznor HVAC Sales Manager - Electric Heat

Responsibilities
Cultivate and drive the success and growth of manufacturers’ representatives; identify, engage, plan, and develop new representatives to specify Reznor products
Engage proactively with electrical distributors at all organizational levels—including corporate headquarters, regional districts, and local branches—both independently and in collaboration with manufacturers’ representatives; cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with key decision-makers to drive alignment and sales growth
Collaborate with partners to ensure Reznor products are specified in projects and qualify for energy efficiency programs, including rebates and incentives
Develop and execute strategic growth plans for distribution partners, setting clear revenue goals and performance benchmarks. Monitor progress monthly and provide guidance, motivation and support to help partners maximize their sales potential
Provide sales and technical support to manufacturers’ representatives and electrical distributors to enhance product knowledge and drive performance
Design and implement sales promotion strategies, advising representatives and distributors on effective promotional activities and campaigns
Lead regular business review meetings with manufacturers’ representatives and distributor partners to assess performance, identify opportunities, and align on strategic initiatives
Track, analyze and report on sales performance metrics, deliver actionable insights and recommendations to Sr. Leadership team to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
Maintain and optimize sales channels, proactively resolving conflicts and ensuring alignment across partners and internal stakeholders
Develop and implement growth-oriented KPIs specific to electric heat products; collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product management to support and surpass sales objectives
In partnership with product management, identify development opportunities and ensure offerings align with evolving marketing demands; use customer feedback on product performance and value, providing insights to inform product improvements and strategic decisions
Monitor competitive activity and leverage insights to develop winning strategies, including the use of competitive bids to increase market share
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree preferred, particularly in Engineering or a related technical field
5-10 years' experience in HVAC and/or Electrical industry sales; experience selling to wholesale distributors, a plus
Strong knowledge of electric heating equipment and applications preferred
Executive-level presentation & Microsoft Office proficiency
Proven experience as a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and growth
Availability for regular business hours, with some weekends required
Willingness to travel 50% - 70% by airplane or automobile
