Read understand and interpret Engineering drawings, blueprints with parts and notes list, and related specifications
Use Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) along with Cartesian coordinates (x,y,z) to layout First Article inspection (FAI) records
Using metrology instrumentation compare accuracy against engineering drawing characteristics
Create and produce a comprehensive inspection plan from assembly level to detail level components that identify complete traceability, accountability and verification
Ability to multi-task to ensure timely completion of project requirements
Support IPT Manager to ensure product will comply and satisfy specific customer requirements
Qualification
Required
GED or equivalent
Correctly read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints
Excellent computer skills particularly excel and MRP systems
Preferred
Two years' experience in quality at a manufacturing facility preferred
