This role involves engaging directly with multi-family property management prospects through field-based outreach and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals.

Responsibilities

Identify and Target Prospects Research and qualify multi-family property management opportunities—e.g., analyzing regional markets and identifying high-potential properties
Engage prospects through local outreach—e.g., conducting door-to-door visits, attending community events, and leveraging networking channels to build connections
Generate and Advance New Opportunities Initiate contact to spark interest—e.g., introducing GoKeyless solutions through demos, walkthroughs, or personalized presentations
Advance pipeline opportunities effectively—e.g., nurturing leads through consistent follow-up and addressing prospect needs proactively
Manage the Full Sales Cycle Execute end-to-end sales activities—e.g., prospecting, qualifying, conducting discovery, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals
Convert interest into contracts—e.g., negotiating terms, finalizing agreements, and securing new client commitments consistently
Represent GoKeyless in the Market Build brand presence through participation—e.g., attending local trade shows, property management conferences, and industry networking functions
Expand territory visibility—e.g., showcasing solutions at events and promoting the GoKeyless value proposition to drive awareness
Collaborate Across Teams for Success Partner with Marketing to enhance outreach—e.g., coordinating on campaign execution, event follow-up, and lead qualification efforts
Share insights with internal teams—e.g., providing Sales and Product with feedback on customer needs, competitive trends, and objections
Track and Report Performance Maintain accurate CRM documentation—e.g., logging outreach activities, pipeline progress, and closed business data
Monitor and communicate progress—e.g., reporting on monthly and quarterly sales results to guide strategic adjustments
Ensure Smooth Account Transition and Growth Transition accounts for long-term management—e.g., handing off matured clients (~18 months) to Account Executives or Business Development Representatives
Support scalability and retention—e.g., ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and continuity of service for sustained success
Commit to Continuous Learning and Improvement Expand product and industry expertise—e.g., staying informed on SaaS innovations, property management trends, and access control technologies
Apply learnings to refine approaches—e.g., adopting consultative selling techniques and improving engagement effectiveness

Qualification

Required

0–2+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or other customer-facing roles
Demonstrated ability to influence, persuade, or drive results through projects, internships, or part-time roles
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools preferred, but training will be provided
Territory Market Development—Builds regional presence by strengthening brand visibility, establishing rapport, and positioning GoKeyless as a trusted access solutions provider
Prospect Qualification Expertise—Evaluates prospect fit by assessing operational needs, decision drivers, and readiness for solution engagement
Solution Communication Proficiency—Articulates product value clearly, tailoring messaging to the priorities of multi-family property stakeholders
Pipeline Discipline & Sales Momentum—Maintains structured pipeline activity through organized follow-up and consistent progression of early-stage opportunities
Customer Success & Simplicity—Delivers positive, seamless experiences by simplifying work and proactively removing friction for customers
Communication & Collaboration—Communicates clearly, chooses real conversations over email when it matters, and collaborates constructively

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
