Responsibilities

Operate at both a massive and nuanced scale, toggling between exposing Stripe’s payment infrastructure to in-person via APIs and experiences and thinking through areas like reducing fraud, driving the best in class authorization rates for our merchants, and expanding payment capabilities
Partner directly with an experienced team of Engineers, Legal, Partnerships, Finance, Product Sales, Product Marketing, Data Science and Technical Operations Specialists
Set a motivating multi-year vision and then break it down into measurable, meaningful milestones for the Terminal Core Payments team. This includes creating buy-in, crafting roadmaps and OKRs, and navigating trade-offs
Represent Terminal and Stripe in external forums like front of users: directly engaging in product discovery and roadmapping conversations

Preferred

10+ years of product management experience or equivalent
Technically adept systems thinker, ideally with a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred
Experience working on developer products (APIs, SDKs) and building interfaces that support both internal or external users
Demonstrated success and strong execution track record in building payment products
Great interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication. You can make complex concepts accessible with clear communication
Experience working in the in-person payments space
