Senior Healthcare & Life Sciences Solutions Architect, AI Solutions
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Healthcare & Life Sciences Solutions Architect to join their Applied AI Solutions organization. In this role, you will help shape and deliver on the go-to-market strategy for global healthcare and life sciences customers, leveraging AWS technologies to drive customer adoption and value realization.

Responsibilities
Work with Business Development (BD) and Sales leaders to lead technical engagement with customers to understand requirements, propose solutions, and address technical concerns
Build and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept to showcase AWS capabilities to HCLS customers
Partner with Sales, Business Development, and Marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for HCLS solutions
Collaborate with Product teams to develop new features, products, and services that delight HCLS customers, providing technical expertise and customer feedback
Capture and share best practices and technical knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community
Develop customer-facing technical content such as reference architectures, whitepapers, and implementation guides for HCLS use cases
Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the healthcare and life sciences space
Travel ~30% of the time to support customer engagements
Qualification
Required
Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry experience
5+ years of experience in technical architecture, solution design, or consulting in healthcare or life sciences such as computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, biomedical engineering
Background in healthcare IT, clinical systems, payer, provider, life sciences R&D, or closely-related domains
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies, infrastructure architecture, or software development
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for customers
Master's or PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, biomedical engineering in health sciences, healthcare administration/ management, public health, healthcare information management, computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, biomedical engineering or associated domains
Experience with AWS services, particularly in AI/ML, data analytics, or healthcare-specific offerings
Deep understanding of one or more healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR)
Understanding of life sciences compliance and regulatory standards such as GxP, CLIA, and the FDA approval process
