Responsibilities

Implement all purchasing programs, prices and specifications as established by corporate purchasing and culinary where applicable

Monitor, document and communicate supplier performance responsiveness to the corporate office

Ensure that the location is notified of all product recalls as they pertain to products purchased at the location

Provide training/ mentoring to location managers as needed of all systems used within the purchasing department, as it applies to purchasing procedures

Completes all projects in a timely and professional manner

Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale

Ensures that all purchasing department personnel have the necessary training to be successful in their role

Promotes a continuing education format to all regarding product knowledge and food safety issues

Ensures all required reports to the corporate office are achieved in a timely manner
