Responsibilities

System Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to create comprehensive audio-visual system designs that address specific requirements and deliver optimal performance

Installation and Integration: Support the installation and integration of audio-visual systems, ensuring all components are correctly designed and functioning as intended

Project Management: Assist the assigned Project Manager in managing audio-visual projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams

Technical Expertise: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure our audio-visual solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive

Client Training: Work with the assigned Project Manager as needed to conduct training sessions for clients to ensure they are comfortable using their new audio-visual systems and can maximize their benefits

Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all audio-visual projects, including system diagrams, scope of work, bill of materials, user manuals, and maintenance logs

Required

Bachelor's degree in audio-visual technology, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in designing, installing, and maintaining audio-visual systems, preferably in a professional or commercial setting

Proficiency with audio-visual equipment, including projectors, video walls, complex AV systems, displays, sound systems, control systems, video conferencing platforms, and networking

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and vendors

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of work and system performance

Preferred

Relevant industry certifications, such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), are highly desirable

Experience using D-Tools, Acumatica, and Microsoft
