Responsibilities
Collaborate with business leaders to identify, define, prioritize, develop, and deliver projects
Detail and document project information, including objectives, scope, justification, scheduling, budgeting, communication strategy, risk identification and mitigation, and project activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring
Oversee the execution of assigned projects and ensure that assigned resources are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards
Plan project management activities, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and allocating and overseeing resources for various deliverables
Represent assigned projects in planning and status review meetings, document ongoing project activities and status, and communicate project status and issue information to the project management office (PMO) team and project stakeholders
Organize and facilitate project planning, project status reviews, retrospectives, and other project related meetings to ensure alignment, risk mitigation, resource optimization, and stakeholder engagement
Interface with procurement teams and vendors on behalf of the assigned projects as required
Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting objectives, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines
Draft new and improve existing PMO processes, procedures, and templates
Manage internal and external project communications, improving transparency, and sharing information
Implement practices and procedures that support continuous improvement
Identify and resolve problems that interfere with team progress
Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication
Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university or college
Four years' additional experience in project management, or three years' professional experience with a PMP certification can be in lieu of a bachelor's degree
Typically, seven to ten years' experience in IT project management, with recent experience in project scoping, planning, and scheduling, including master plan/milestones, risk management, and costs and benefits estimation
A minimum of five years' experience as an IT project manager, with at least two years' experience managing multiple projects with overlapping project dates
A minimum of two years' experience in quality management, including supporting ISO or other quality management standards
Knowledge of Agile principles, ceremonies, and tools and techniques such as Scrum, Scumban, Kanban, Lean, etc
Experience supporting the development of project and quality management processes
Experience identifying, collecting, and reporting metrics for measuring progress and quality
Demonstrated experience in IT design and architecture workshops and reviews
Experience in full Software Delivery Lifecycle from project inception to delivery
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project and Atlassian suite of tools
