Responsibilities
Prepare proposals by developing work scope, cost estimates, and project schedules
Manage projects by monitoring project progress, providing technical assistance, and interfacing with clients
Analyze concrete dams and appurtenant structures using computer software and hand calculations
Conduct field inspections of project sites to assess existing conditions
Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients
Engineer of record for design and/or analysis projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in structural, civil, or mechanical engineering
15+ years of experience
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in at least one U.S. state
Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
Strong technical writing skills (e.g., reports, proposals, etc.)
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and can effectively communicate with people internally and externally (e.g., clients, staff, regulators)
Preferred
Masters' Degree with emphasis in structural, civil, mechanical engineering
Experience with finite element analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, ABAQUS, SAP2000, STADD)
Experience participating in risk analysis of dams
Experience performing seismic analysis of dams and appurtenant structures
