Responsibilities
Lead and manage quality personnel, including staffing, training, performance reviews, timekeeping, feedback, and development
Guide leads and team members on recognition, corrective actions, and disciplinary processes when required
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous quality improvement
Supervise quality control activities for injection molding and painting (initial, in-process, and final)
Ensure adherence to quality management systems, OEM requirements, and internal procedures
Manage departmental KPIs, visual controls, and report performance to management
Oversee ISIR, mass production inspections, PLT sample evaluation, and paint quality metrics
Supervise torque checks, tool calibration, weld strength testing, Vision NG Masters, and contamination prevention
Support testing lab setup and execution for U.S. subsidiary requirements
Monitor raw material properties (MI, moisture, lot control) and establish quality limits
Verify packaging specifications and manage incoming inspection processes
Lead corrective actions, root cause analysis, and emergency responses per OEM/customer policy (e.g., color variation issues)
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with production, engineering, and supply chain teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent experience
3–5+ years of quality control experience in automotive manufacturing, including leadership responsibility
Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes
Experience with ERP/SAP and Microsoft Office
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
Solid understanding of environmental, health, and safety standards in manufacturing
