Work closely with the billing team to identify trends in denials and implement solutions
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of collection activities and payer communications
Qualification
Required
2+ years of medical collections experience in a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of insurance claims processing, Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers
Proficiency in Trizetto and Methosoft (or similar medical billing software)
Ability to problem-solve, negotiate, and think critically in challenging collection scenarios
Exceptional communication and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with insurance representatives and internal teams
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts
