Gore Business System Specialist
W. L. Gore & Associates is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Practitioner to join their Medical Gore Business System office. This role is crucial for driving global adoption of the Gore Business System and involves collaborating with leaders and teams to improve processes and deliver sustainable results.

Responsibilities
Deploy sustainable standard leadership and lean tools including but not limited to Strategy Deployment, Daily Management, Structured Problem Solving, Kaizen, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, Business Process Improvement and 6S
Establish an organizational culture of Continuous Improvement by coaching and mentoring all levels within the organization
Identify Processes to improve and eliminate waste using Gore Business System standards to achieve significant gains and drive transformation
Consistently challenge conventional thinking and current processes and procedures in the spirit of continuous improvement
Model what it means to be a change agent within the organization
Partner with organizational Leaders to build a robust Kaizen funnel and prioritize opportunities for improvement in alignment with execution of business strategies
Facilitate Kaizen events and upskill team members on Kaizen facilitation and standard work
Identify and deploy meaningful operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with organizational leaders and relevant stakeholders
Provide ongoing education to the organization in the areas of Continuous Improvement and contribute to enterprise standards development
Establish clear expectations of equitable and inclusive behaviors from Associates and act immediately to appropriately address negatively impactful or unfair behavior
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Ops Management, or Minimum 5 years of successful Operations Leadership and or Continuous Improvement work history
Minimum of 3 years' experience implementing continuous improvement, Lean, and/or six sigma applications
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to transparently communicate and relate to people at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to coach, lead and influence both individually and broadly across the division (including leading leaders)
Demonstrated lean or operational excellence proficiency
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training materials, simulations, and exercises
Proven ability to facilitate kaizen, diverse problem solving and improvement events
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Travel up to 25%
Preferred
Experience applying Lean in non-manufacturing environments
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
Experience in a regulated industry
