Digital Program Coordinator

Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands Inc. is focused on improving internet connectivity for older adults. The Digital Program Coordinator will provide technical assistance and digital navigation services to consumers, coordinate the Senior Planet Program, and ensure that digital resources are accessible to all community members.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one technical assistance and digital navigation services to consumers enrolled in any of ESCCI’s clinical or community programs
Work with clinical staff and supervisors to encourage appropriate referrals
Use telephone screening tool to identify consumer needs
Assist consumers telephonically or by meeting in a public space or the consumer’s home. When the need exceeds what ESCCI can provide, make referrals to outside vendors or community partners as appropriate
Stay informed about digital services offered by community partners and local private sector providers
Distribute customer satisfaction surveys after service has been completed
Document and archive all relevant data; prepare quarterly report on services provided
Actively participate in Senior Planet quarterly meetings for trainers and, when appropriate, in monthly Senior Planet topic specific meetings
Coordinate ESCCI’s Senior Planet Program:
Collaborate with ESCCI management in choosing specific programming topics and curricula from among the licensed materials we have access to
Work with community partners to schedule and promote Senior Planet offerings that are accessible to all Barnstable residents
Ensure contract trainers utilize established protocols with regards to classroom presentation, technology inventory tracking, post-engagement surveys, observation & documentation are adhered to
Collect data, including enrollments, evaluation and survey responses, as required and enter this data into Senior Planet’s Salesforce CRM in a timely manner
Provide feedback to ESCCI management about the quality and efficacy of specific Senior Planet programs and curricula
Maintain laptop inventory, ensuring all hardware and software are up to date and properly prepared for deployment to classes
Prepare flyers and social media posts for Senior Planet programs; distribute flyers to community partners and bulletin boards as appropriate; monitor website to ensure program information is current and complete
Prepare Certificates of Completion; attend final classes
Deliver Senior Planet Programs at sites throughout our service area
Prepare in advance to deliver in-person instructional programs with confidence
Represent and promote Senior Planet culture and opportunities to program attendees
Create a warm and inclusive classroom learning environment
Demonstrate patience and respect toward all participants
Communicate technical information clearly and promote active learning
Attend meetings as required by ESCCI or Older Adults Technology Services, Inc., including bi-monthly meetings of Healthy Aging Cape Cod’s Digital Equity Working Group and monthly Community Services/Clinical Staff meetings
Assist ESCCI clinical staff in meeting the technology needs of clients enrolled in any of ESCCI’s programs

Required

Excellent customer service skills, including attentiveness to accessibility issues and cultural context
Excellent computer skills and the initiative to learn emergent new technologies
Ability to work independently and professionally
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate internally, as well as with community partners to achieve common goals
Valid MA driver's license and car required
Certificate in Digital Navigation from NDIA Affiliated Institution
Licensed Senior Planet Trainer
Experience using online platforms for accessing government benefits and services
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
Travel throughout service area
