Account Manager

The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships for Infotec’s training and professional development programs, focusing on understanding client needs and recommending appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with current and prospective clients
Consult with organizations to understand workforce training needs and recommend appropriate Infotec courses, workshops, or custom solutions
Develop proposals, pricing, and contracts in coordination with leadership
Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate program logistics, instructor scheduling, and course delivery
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client activity, communications, and opportunities in the CRM system
Monitor training industry trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to inform sales strategy
Meet or exceed defined sales goals and performance targets
Represent Infotec at trade shows, client meetings, and community events to promote services and build brand awareness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
3–5 years of professional experience in account management, business development, or sales—preferably in training, education, or professional services
3-5 years of professional sales experience with a focus on account management and new business development
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales and client retention goals
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to match client needs to training solutions
Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Proficient with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, events, and conferences
