Quality Parts Inspector

EURO-COMPOSITES Corp. is a leading manufacturer in the composites and aerospace industry, seeking a Quality Control Parts Inspector to join their team. The role involves visual and physical inspection of products to ensure they meet customer requirements and includes communication with other departments regarding inspection findings.

Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical detail through verbal and written methods
Able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications associated with composite product designs
Access to the Engineering of new products including model-based definition
Time will be split working between a lab environment and production environment
Ability to define depth and length of inspection activities including sampling
Exposure to varying levels of temperatures, noises, and dust
Extended periods of time sitting and working on computers
Extended periods of time walking and standing on concrete floors
Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds unassisted
Consistent unassisted pushing, pulling, lifting, crouching, reaching, and bending
Inspect parts to ensure customer requirements are met
Read drawings from customers
Evaluate measuring instruments
Accept or reject materials and instruments based on inspection criteria
Enter inspection results into company database
Coordinate with other departments to offer feedback and support regarding findings

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Good understanding of math
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
Working knowledge of diverse units of measurements for various requirements
Ability to interpret blueprints
Strong attention to accuracy and precision
Knowledge of industry safety standards

Technical background preferred
Previous fork truck certification and experience a plus
