Right At School is a company focused on providing engaging before and after school programs for children. They are seeking a Part-Time Before and After School Site Program Manager to oversee program operations, manage staff, and ensure a safe and enriching environment for students.

Responsibilities

Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation

Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way

Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play

Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel

Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children

Meets regularly with the Area Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

Required

Must provide college transcripts with a minimum of 24 credits of early childhood education

Must be able to complete state CPR/first aid training, provide a negative TB test, complete mandated reporter training, and hold a valid Arizona fingerprint card

You must have a minimum of 12 months of experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting

Must be 21 years of age

One year of supervisor/management experience

High School Diploma/GED

English language proficiency

Hold a current valid Arizona Fingerprint card

Can complete a TB Test, CPR/First Aid and Food Handler card in a timely manner

Reside locally within the surrounding area of the JO Combs area schools

Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills

Works well in a team environment

At least one year of experience working with children 5-13 years of age in a formal group childcare setting

Six college credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or a related field

Ability to lift 40lbs

Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living

Ability to meet state-specific requirements

Preferred

Proven experience as a before-and-after-school site program manager

Ability to manage a split-shift schedule and perform effectively under pressure

A positive, adaptable attitude focused on fostering an engaging environment for students
