Responsibilities

Manages Health and Benefits, Virtual Insurance, and BenAdmin Zone Sales Managers and their organizations in order to exceed the company established quotas for their geographic responsibility with the United States
Manages Health & Benefits Direct Marketing organization through assigned set of managers to ensure strategies to increase client base are met
Formulates and recommends plans, policies, goals and objectives for Area sales activities
Conducts systematic quarterly and ongoing reviews of zone/district sales activities to ensure achievement of goals; provides feedback and tools for Sales Management and Sales Representatives to use in achievement of Quota. The primary vehicle being SFDC leadership
Reviews and evaluates performance to sales and profit objectives to ensure goal of controlling sales turnover for assigned Health and Benefit Direct Marketing Organization, Zones and Districts through appropriate hiring and oversight of performance management
Acts as a problem solver, decision maker, and process improvement leader by partnering with HR, Training, Marketing and Product Management
Recruits, selects, hires, and evaluates performance of personnel. Counsels and develops staff for personal and corporate advancement through career development, training programs, and other resources

Required

10+ years of experience in Sales experience
5 years of experience in sales management
Relevant Insurance License This role requires you to be eligible for applicable insurance licensing in all 50 states, which may involve an enhanced background check. If you are not currently licensed, you will be required to obtain the necessary insurance license(s) within 90 calendar days of your official start date. Failure to obtain the required license(s) within 90 days of your start date and to maintain eligibility throughout the duration of your employment may result in corrective action, up to and including termination of employment. Paychex Insurance Agency, Inc. (PIA) will cover the cost of up to two (2) attempts to pass a state insurance licensing exam including exam materials and testing fee. The cost of any additional attempts will be at the expense of the individual employee. If an individual is hired by PIA with an active and current license(s), that employee will be responsible for the timely updating and/or verifying of any changes that may have occurred with their state license(s) prior to their start date at PIA. This includes any state of residence changes, e-mail changes, mailing address changes or name changes
Dual Insurance Licenses would need to be obtained in Property & Casuality as well as Life and Health
