Customer Service Representative - Registration Services - Coconut Point

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience while registering patients and managing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors

Serve as a friendly, professional front-facing representative of Lee Health

Work closely with your team to ensure a seamless patient experience

Handle telephones, patient appointment scheduling, patient check-in, insurance verification, authorization, pre-certifications, referrals, and posting charges

Prepare well-coded and accurate billing and maintenance of medical records

Manage the business services for workers compensation, commercial carriers, employee health and corporate accounts as needed

Other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor of the department

Required

High School Diploma or GED Required

Less than 1 Year Clerical/Administrative required

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required in Employee Health and may also be required at other locations within 90 days of hire

Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills

IT/computer proficient

Basic math

Knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing helpful

Preferred
