Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Software Developer 4 (ServiceNow) opportunity to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory. The role involves working as a Senior ServiceNow Developer to develop, configure, administer, and maintain custom configurations for the Weapons Facilities Office.

Responsibilities

Work closely with members of the ServiceNow Tools Team, as well as other IT-related groups who use ServiceNow on a regular basis

Proactively monitor, provide recommendations, and implement changes to improve the quality and efficiency of solutions developed

Design, develop, modify, test, debug and evaluate workflow solutions to meet functional requirements outlined for the ServiceNow team

Assist in gathering of business requirements as well as provide recommendations and implementation solutions based on those requirements

Work with process specialists in the design of new forms and workflow, as well as customization of existing forms and workflow to best fit their identified needs

Prepare documentation for developed workflow solutions, training, and user guides

Required

Eight years or more experience working with administration and development of ServiceNow forms and workflows

Experience with configuring and administering ServiceNow Modules such as ITSM, Knowledge, CMDB, and HRSD

Strong troubleshooting skills

Strong project management and attention to detail skills

Ability to identify opportunities to design and implement process improvements

Understanding of ITIL framework, workflows, and integration

Understanding of Agile Development framework

Ability to work well with others across multiple teams to gather, anticipate, track, and incorporate new requirements while maintaining configuration management and version control

Familiarity with federal government security requirements, and ability to implement and assess effectiveness of security controls

Experience developing custom integrations to 3rd party software and platforms

Experience implementing service now application modules

Experience developing custom applications in the ServiceNow platform

Strong familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle

United States Citizenship

Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance
