Responsibilities
Deliver Quality Tax Services. Prepare and review complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance across individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and other entities
Research & Plan. Conduct technical tax research, identify planning opportunities, and provide practical solutions as a client advocate
Support Advisory Projects. Assist with income tax planning, estate and gift considerations, nonprofit compliance, pension tax, and other consulting engagements
Manage Relationships. Work directly with clients, understand their objectives, and deliver proactive tax and business solutions
Coach & Mentor. Supervise, train, and review the work of staff and interns, supporting their professional development and ensuring quality results
Drive Efficiency. Apply strong knowledge of tax systems, processes, and software to improve workflow and project management
Grow Professionally. Participate in firm training, professional organizations, and niche development opportunities to expand your expertise
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
Minimum of two (2) years of public accounting experience
Working knowledge of GAAP and OCBOA
Strong technical, research, organizational, and analytical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other software applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
CPA certification preferred
