Responsibilities
Participate in the end-to-end design process for complex features and product
Develop early-stage concepts that help stakeholders and leaders deeply understand the customer experience while collaborating with engineers throughout the design process
Partner with designers across Alexa to both adopt and extend existing design systems
Develop new patterns and uncover best practices, contributing to Figma libraries and sharing insights with peers
Incorporate insights from relevant Alexa research, conduct hallway testing, and participate in user research to inform and validate decisions
Design net-new concepts that make life more enjoyable for customers, solving long-standing problems, and refining product offerings with solutions architects and tech teams
Run user research to test customer interpretations and responses to designs
Build a working prototype for a conversational experience
Qualification
Required
3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
Have an available online portfolio
Preferred
2+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience
Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
