The Inside Sales Representative will manage the full sales process for custom automation projects, including prospecting, technical discovery, quoting, negotiation, and post-sale coordination.

Responsibilities
Own End-to-End Execution: Manage the entire cycle (lead intake → qualification → proposal → close → handoff). Maintain strict pipeline hygiene and drive responsiveness
Sell Engineered Solutions: Conduct technical discovery to uncover process needs (cycle time, quality, footprint) and translate them into internal engineering action items
Build Precision Proposals: Coordinate BOMs, scope, and assumptions with Engineering. Ensure accuracy in specs, lead times, and pricing
Operate AI-First: Leverage tools like Claude or Gemini to accelerate research, draft proposals, and summarize calls to increase throughput without sacrificing quality
Coordinate Execution: Align scope and feasibility with engineering, purchasing, and service teams to prevent downstream surprises
Qualification
Required
Proven inside sales experience owning the process end-to-end (industrial/technical preferred)
Comfort selling custom solutions with ambiguity rather than catalog commodities
Strong attention to detail: accurate documentation, clean CRM discipline, and reliable follow-up
AI-First approach: Demonstrated ability to use LLMs to speed up drafting and research
Preferred
Experience with automation, CNC, robotics, or industrial integration
Familiarity with BOMs, Incoterms, and cross-functional coordination
Key Traits: Ownership mindset, high precision, technical curiosity, and persistence
