Responsibilities

Develop and verify audio algorithms for GoPro cameras and accessories
Discover, define, develop, and deploy audio technologies into GoPro devices
Enjoy a wide variety of work activities. Test audio HW in the morning and develop audio algorithms in the afternoon
Qualification
Required
BS, MS or Ph.D in an engineering discipline, preferably related to acoustics and/or digital signal processing
5+ years of experience developing audio systems for portable consumer electronics, including some of the following activities: Defining audio requirements, Evaluating audio hardware in lab and in production, Integrating acoustic transducers into mechanics, Prototyping and deploying new audio algorithms in Audio Weaver, Matlab, C++, Python and Tensor Flow, Developing test methods to evaluate new technologies, Developing tools for evaluating audio performance, Recording audio in the outdoors
Ability to work well with other humans
Preferred
Designing devices for use in and out of wind and water
Modeling and testing acoustic transducers
Knowing mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing processes
Knowing Wireless and USB audio protocols
Knowing machine learning based processing
