Responsibilities

Leading category and segment assessments to drive innovation strategy

Ideating and executing new item ideas across Natrol and Jarrow brands, partnering closely with base marketing teams to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy and objectives

Partnering with external research team to validate innovation ideas, claims, positioning, etc, including developing learning plans, executing and interpreting key research deliverables

Leading execution of innovation agenda across key cross functional teams – R&D, finance, sales, supply chain, PMO, legal, regulatory, creative

Leading pricing, costing, forecasting and P&L analysis across new item launches to deliver financial objectives

Working with both internal creative and marketing teams and external creative partners to enable execution excellence of new item labels and launch support

Partnering with marketing team to inform key briefing documents for innovation GTM and support

Building compelling sales materials – selling decks, one-pagers, renders - to support effective innovation sell-in

Required

5+ years of related experience in CPG company (Consumer products goods) ideally experience within small to medium sized companies and within the VMS category

MBA preferred but not required

A leader who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrates high adaptability and agility

Strong analytical, critical/ strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to drive results when working with a cross functional team

Must be highly ethical, have strong integrity, and use value-based decision making

Must be able to travel approximately 20%
