Responsibilities

As an Environmental Report Writer, you will work with our Environmental Field Inspectors, after they have conducted an inspection of our client’s property, and our Lead Consultants to develop a thorough, accurate, and customized report for each client

Develop customized reports from databases to extract and collect data according to client or management needs

Build and repair environmental reports and software applications are primary duties

Report preparation including reviewing laboratory data

Proof documents for adherence to a style guide or similar standards

Maintain continuity of reports throughout nationwide footprint

Develop and create state specific environmental testing reports using up to date regulations

Monitor sample lifecycle from collection, transportation, and delivery to laboratory

Monitor sample receipt and analysis Turn Around Time (TAT) from laboratory

Work effectively as a team as well as independently

The Report Writer is responsible for the final deliverable of the client’s journey with us as each report will be reviewed in detail with the client by our Lead Consultants

Utilizing our proprietary enterprise software you will organize the inspector's notes, review lab results and write reports detailing out recommended next steps

Communicate with Environmental Field Inspectors to review each property in detail

Review property data uploaded from the inspector

Review lab results from environmental samples taken from properties

Organize property information including sampling data, specifications, and inspector notes with clarity, conciseness, style, and appropriate terminology

Review created reports and recommended revisions, change in scope, format, and content

Engage in continuous learning to be a leading industry expert and provide knowledgeable solutions for our customers

Required

Experience in environmental report writing or a related field

Ability to develop customized reports from databases

Proficiency in building and repairing environmental reports and software applications

Experience in report preparation including reviewing laboratory data

Strong proofreading skills for adherence to a style guide or similar standards

Ability to maintain continuity of reports throughout a nationwide footprint

Knowledge of state-specific environmental testing regulations

Experience in monitoring sample lifecycle from collection to laboratory delivery

Ability to monitor sample receipt and analysis Turn Around Time (TAT)

Strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently

Excellent communication skills to interact with Environmental Field Inspectors

Ability to review property data and lab results

Strong organizational skills for property information including sampling data and inspector notes

Ability to review created reports and recommend revisions
