Responsibilities
Draft probate and trust administration documents, including petitions, inventories, accountings, reports, and waivers
Prepare and file Judicial Council forms for California trust and probate matters
Assist with trust funding, asset transfers, and beneficiary distributions
Coordinate asset sales and prepare related documentation (deeds, settlement statements, promissory notes)
Communicate with financial institutions, appraisers, and accountants to obtain valuations and financial data
Assist with guardianship and conservatorship proceedings
Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and ancillary materials
Support gift and estate tax preparation with internal and external tax professionals
Maintain confidentiality and deliver high-touch client service
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and Paralegal certificate required
At least 2–3 years of trusts & estates / private client experience required
Strong knowledge of California probate and trust administration procedures
Excellent drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills
Comfort working with financial information and complex asset structures
Professional, discreet, and client-service oriented
