Responsibilities
Support maintenance on complex repair issues
Provide documentation and training to enhance workforce capabilities
Investigate alternatives to high-cost wear items and repair parts, including substitutions, new materials, and methods
Conduct root cause analysis on repetitive equipment failures and implement corrective actions
Implement and support predictive technologies to reduce unplanned downtime, including procedures and documentation
Develop and optimize preventative maintenance programs, ensuring correct tasks and frequencies are documented and followed
Assist engineering with equipment modifications, new designs, and capital project justifications
Champion and educate benefits of predictive maintenance across multiple technical and operational departments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
5-10 years of experience with manufacturing equipment, with a focus on maintenance and reliability
Experience in industrial environments
Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Proficiency in reliability tools and methodologies
Strong data analysis skills using tools like Excel, Power BI, or statistical software
Ability to interpret failure data and develop actionable insights
Skilled in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Experience in planning and executing reliability improvement initiatives
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with maintenance, production, and engineering teams
Capable of presenting technical findings and recommendations to leadership
