They are seeking a Data Center Security Manager to drive operational security excellence across multiple facilities, ensuring the integrity of physical security measures and improving electronic surveillance and access controls.

Responsibilities
Driving operational security excellence in several separate facilities
Discovering physical security gaps and shortcomings and driving to fix them immediately
Interfacing and directing vendors involved in new security construction, repairs, daily security operations and patrols, and planning
Extracting metrics and observing improvements by looking at hard data
Making suggestions on improving electronic surveillance and access controls
Directing efforts to educate data center occupants on false alarm reductions
Writing and implementing security processes and procedures
Writing reports, creating presentations, and communicating with management on the status of physical security operations
Qualification
Required
Experience with access control and CCTV systems
6+ months' experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment
Additional education or training in security-related fields is a plus
Preferred
College Degree (Bachelors) or Background in one or more of: Military (Career/Military Police/Military Special Operations Forces), Law Enforcement with Arrest Authority (Police Academy Graduate), TSA Security Screening, Correctional Facility Officer
2+ years Security experience or equivalent (demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education)
1+ year Leadership experience
