Responsibilities
Oversee and grow a portfolio of strategic merchants by implementing commercial initiatives designed to drive consistent year-over-year revenue growth
Develop and drive a pipeline of new products, market expansion, and share-of-checkout opportunities to increase volume and revenue within a global strategic merchant relationship
Build and maintain trusted relationships, acting as the voice of the customer: understanding their priorities, pain points, and expansion plans, and communicating these effectively across internal cross-functional teams
Ensure outstanding internal and external communication — address client demands, convey compelling value propositions, and communicate EBANX's product roadmap or sensitive updates clearly
Monitor, measure, and propose strategies to continually improve merchant performance, payment method optimization, market penetration, and brand advancement
Collaborate closely with a diverse cross-functional team (product, marketing, operations, risk, legal, finance) to maximize merchant satisfaction and advocacy
Maintain a strong understanding of our competitive landscape and business strategy
Diligently report on sales pipeline progression within Salesforce, requiring strong organization and accuracy
Provide feedback to leadership on how to optimize the sales cycle, enhance sales channels, and strengthen brand positioning
Represent EBANX and its values with professionalism and positivity at all times
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Key Account Manager with a consistent record of exceeding targets
Previous experience of 5 years in the payments industry
Deep understanding of merchant payment environments and needs
Proven relationship building skills
Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and solid organizational ability
Proven experience using Salesforce CRM to manage pipelines, forecast revenue, and maintain sales discipline
Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Tenacious, resilient, and solution-oriented mindset
Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
Strong planning, prioritization, and time management discipline
Valid passport and willingness to travel (up to 30% of the time)
Fluent English
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
Preferred
A secondary language is a plus (Portuguese, Spanish, etc)
