Responsibilities

Direct and indirect supervision of professional and paraprofessional staff engaged in departmental human resources activities related to employee records management and payroll administration
Oversee and monitors all activities related to payroll administration to include the following: review, authorization and submission of the biweekly electronic Payroll and Attendance Records (INFORMS) for all departmental employees
Preparation of Personnel Change Documents (PCDs) for a variety of payroll transactions
Serving as departmental contact with the Human Resources/Payroll and Information Management Division and the Finance/Payroll Division for all payroll related matters
Research, respond and resolve issues concerning over payments, paychecks, accrued leave time, sick leave conversions, performance evaluations, merit increases, status change, pay supplements, educational incentive pay, overtime, payroll deductions, direct deposit, late changes, intermediate rate changes, and uniform and tool allowances
Oversees and monitors the day-to-day operations of the PMB Employee Records Unit to include ensuring PMB’s response to public records requests
Research of public records
Monitoring C&R In-House Scan projects to include, prepping, scanning, validation and quality control
Monitoring the annual purge project

Required

Bachelor's degree
A minimum of three years of human resources or personnel management experience is required
Additional experience in human resources or personnel management may substitute for the required college education on a year for year basis
