Responsibilities
Direct the implementation of Point72’s operational risk framework
Oversee the capture, investigation, and root‑cause analysis of realized events, ensuring effective documentation, remediation planning, and governance reporting
Lead the analysis, assessment, and continuous monitoring of operational risks across business units, including investment processes, trading operations, technology, and support functions
Perform assessments of new business and critical initiatives to ensure risks are appropriately managed
Support the enhancement of the firm’s risk frameworks, policies, and standards, promoting a culture of risk awareness and accountability
Prepare and present risk reporting for senior management and governance committees
Qualification
Required
15+ years of professional experience in risk management, auditing, or consulting
Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, economics, computer science or engineering
PRMIA Operational Risk Manager Certificate, FRM, CRISC, CISA, and/or CIA certifications
Ability to build strong working relationships to drive positive change
Strong analytical skills to interpret risk data and provide actionable insights
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with automation tools and software, such as robotic process automation (RPA) platforms, GenAI, data analytics tools, and Tableau
Project management skills to assist with planning and implementing automation initiatives, including time management and organization skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough analysis
A self-starter who can work independently
