Service Technician

Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on RHI Magnesita machines
Support inventory management and ensure timely, accurate tracking of RHIM and competitor product performance
Serve as the primary customer contact for product performance, installation support, and service needs
Communicate daily with your supervisor about customer developments, product feedback, and improvement opportunities
Participate in product trials and document results, including pre- and post-trial reporting
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and PPE requirements at customer sites
Respond to urgent or after-hours customer needs with professionalism and urgency
Collaborate with internal departments to support seamless service delivery and operational excellence
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED (or higher)
2+ years of experience in refractory installation, steel mill, or foundry environments preferred
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude—essential for working with robotic equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and contribute to team goals
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Familiarity with heavy industrial environments and safety standards
A forward-thinking, hands-on mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
