Responsibilities

Support testing and test planning and design feedback
Support software development activities related to operational ground station (Python/C++/Java)
Support infrastructure deployment activities
Design and test cable and interconnect engineering (design and test)
Design architectures to support flexibility or improved capability
Conduct experiments related to forward-looking technology
Handle CI/CD development and maintenance

Required

Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited undergraduate program
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship

Preferred

Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other related technical field
Programming experience (Python/C++/Java)
Linux experience
Knowledge of and experience with scientific and engineering methods
Knowledge of and experience with designing, planning, and executing projects with low technology readiness levels
Interest in multidisciplinary work and ability to team across disciplines
Self-initiative and self-motivation
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance
