Responsibilities

Using Workiva to prepare and review our annual and quarterly financial statements
Ensuring that the group and company's financial statements comply with relevant requirements and best practises
Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process
Developing the group’s accounting policies, ensuring they're up to date and in compliance with IFRS
Providing financial reporting and technical accounting advice on the launch of new products, expansion initiatives, and corporate restructuring activities
Supporting the ongoing development of technical accounting and financial reporting policies, processes, and controls to ensure objectives are met in a cost-effective and efficient manner
Leading the external audit process

Required

To be a designated accountant (e.g., ACA, CPA) with a relevant degree from a top university
5+ years of post-qualified experience in a senior accounting or finance role (controllership function, internal accounting, reporting, assurance, etc.)
Expertise applying IFRS, technical accounting, and financial reporting in a banking or fintech environment
Experience with reporting requirements for listed entities (preferably SEC-related)
4+ years of people leadership experience
Excellent organisational skills to plan and organise work efficiently
A structural and logical approach to solving problems
Excellent analytical skills and a hands-on attitude
Great motivation and focus on delivery

Preferred

Good knowledge of SQL and/or Python
Experience with NetSuite and/or Workiva
IPO experience
