Inventory System Coordinator
ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a community hospital providing a wide range of health services. The Inventory System Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the accuracy of material supply stations.

Responsibilities
Demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to communicate appropriately with staff of varied skill levels
Assists with the maintenance of PAR levels in departmental material stations
Conducts monthly inventory cycle counts on nonstock items
Reviews all items that are due to expire in the stations and removes as necessary
Responsible for build of additional material supply stations, maintaining the stations and console and reporting applicable issues to vendor
Facilitates competency training and skills assessment for users of the material supply stations
Responsible for review of web-based material supply system(s)
Assists with cycle counts in SCM Stockroom area, and other areas, as needed
Assists with receiving functions at SCM site, to include scanning of documents as needed
Responsible for keeping Stockroom areas neat to include assisting with monitor and removal of expired products within area
Responsible for working any daily reports and tasks assigned at local site
Demonstrates ability to proficiently use PeopleSoft program including mobile inventory
Demonstrates ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite
Serves as a backup to Supply Chain Specialist position and SCM Manager, as needed
Performs tasks of Supply Chain Clerk as needed
Participates in departmental performance improvement activities
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required- or higher
1 to 5 years experience required in Materials Services, Purchasing or related
