Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, resolve equipment issues
Design change requirements, and equipment modifications
Scheduling maintenance, installation, and start-up support
Position will also be responsible for supporting existing equipment performance and reliability
Support equipment testing schedules and assigning contract testers, technicians, and engineers to appropriate tasks while developing processes to improve O&M output quality
Ensures compliance with all operational, environmental and other regulatory and policy compliance requirements. Monitors station environmental, health and safety objectives and ensures they are met
Provides leadership and accountability in order to achieve desired safety results (Lock Out Tag Out compliance, safety meeting attendance, contractor oversight, safety policies/procedures, work practices, etc.)

Required

High School Diploma or GED
0-1 years of electrical maintenance or Solar PV Systems experience
Valid driver's license
Successful completion of the MASS test
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
This position contains a weight restriction of 275 pounds as an essential function of the job

Preferred

Associates Degree or Technical Certification /Training in the electrical field with a year or more experience, preferably in power plant or related technical industry
2 years technical training or military training in electrical maintenance or Solar PV Systems
Working knowledge of power distribution systems
Previous experience working with inverters, electrical design, Maximo CMMS, centralized SCADA/EMS control systems and associated network devices
Knowledge of National Electrical Code
5 or more years of electrical maintenance or Solar PV Systems experience
