Responsibilities
Own the Quality function including Supplier Quality and the Quality Control Plan (including criteria for In-Process Quality, Product Testing, and Final Inspection
Grow the Quality team through hiring and development
Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of cost, quality, and delivery targets
Provide the department with leadership to support critical initiatives
Ensure customer quality issues and non-conformances are resolved quickly, taking the lead for the mitigation actions with other Russelectric teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing, and Procurement)
Collaborate with other Russelectric business teams and external partners to implement quality improvements
Establish Quality Performance data and Key Performance Indicators; provide the Management team with regular updates on Quality activities
Qualification
Required
Four years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment required
Ability to travel 5%
Proven leadership/team management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development (Growth Mindset approach)
Ability to build a culture that promotes a team environment
Strong attention to detail and a focus on achieving results
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills in English
Hands-on approach in taking charge of issues on the factory floor and seeing them through to resolution
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred
Experience in Power Distribution business or similar industries in energy business preferred
Six-Sigma black belt preferred
