PROJECT MANAGER - STACK TESTING (ENVIRONMENTAL EMISSIONS)

The role involves overseeing environmental emission stack testing activities and ensuring compliance with safety protocols while interacting with clients and managing project logistics.

Responsibilities
Setting up and conducting environmental emission stack testing activities
Cleaning and assembling stack testing glassware in lab
Calibrating equipment
Operating CEMS trailer and DAS
Act as Test Crew Leader as required
Driving trucks and trailers to job sites
Interacting with clients
Strict adherence to the Stack Testing safety program
Perform tasks as necessary in the shop and in the lab
Operate and troubleshoot complex electronic and stack gas conveyance systems in adverse conditions
Qualification
Required
Minimum five years stack testing experience conducting manual EPA Methods 1 through 5, 8, 17, 23, 29 and 201A/202 and continuous monitoring methods 3A, 6C, 7E, 10, 25A/18
Must be able to comfortably work at heights (with proper training) and in zoom boom basket (with proper training)
Must have the ability to travel
Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. (single and two-person lift) and work extended hours in the field
Must possess valid driver's license and company-insurance-carrier-acceptable driving record in order to drive fleet vehicles
Self-starter, quick learner, and possess effective communication skills
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Preferred
MSHA, OSHA, QSTI training/certification is preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred (Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or related field)
Possess a strong work ethic and knowledge of the stack testing business
Strong commitment to safety and quality assurance
Possess ability to effectively manage personnel and administrative functions
Advanced technical capabilities associated with the specific field of expertise
Motivated self-starter and ability to perform periodic field work
Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards associated with site operations
Technical writing competency and computer literacy
