The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and support the accounting team to ensure smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities
Accurately enter and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Generate and send customer invoices; follow up on outstanding payments
Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments
Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting issues
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial data
Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management
Accounts Payable
Invoicing
Deposit checks
Back up for AR application
Purchase order creation
Allocations JE Backup
Accruals JE Backup
Assist with mthly BS reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Assist with credit card cleanup
Assist with budgeting process
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)
Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
Experience in a small business or professional services environment
Preferred
Familiarity with other accounting software or platforms
Basic knowledge of payroll processing and tax filings
