Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift (OCP)
Manage cloud infrastructure and services on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS, etc.)
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration to improve efficiency and reliability
Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and pull requests using GitHub
Monitor system performance, application availability, and security; proactively resolve issues
Work closely with development teams to improve build, deployment, and release processes
Implement DevOps best practices including infrastructure as code, version control, and automation
Participate in production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks
Qualification
Required
6+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer
Strong experience with OpenShift (OCP)
Proven expertise in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
Proficiency in GitHub for source control and collaboration
Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Groovy
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
AWS, Kubernetes, or OpenShift certifications
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
Experience working in an enterprise or large-scale production environment
