Responsibilities
Receive, log, and issue aircraft parts and kits to support shop floor operations and mechanics’ needs
Handle customer orders, prepare parts for shipment, and ensure accuracy using parts catalogs and warranty guidelines
Assist with routine and special inventories, monitor back orders, and coordinate with Textron Aviation Parts Distribution (TAPD) for timely fulfillment
Prepare shipments and manage purchase orders for packaging materials and other parts room supplies
Oversee consignment and exchange programs, ensuring compliance and smooth execution
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification plus general knowledge of aircraft parts and blueprint reading is required
The ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable, is required
Compliance with Textron Company Vehicle Policy/Policies and standards is required
Preferred
Aircraft parts or relative experience is helpful
Ability to read, understand, and analyze illustrated parts catalogs if helpful
Capability to interpret overhaul manuals and aircraft engine manuals
