Seneca Resources Company, LLC is a client driven provider of strategic Information Technology consulting services and Workforce Solutions. They are seeking a Manual/CNC Machinist for 2nd shift positions responsible for operating machining processes to manufacture products to specifications on a variety of materials and machines.

Responsibilities
Works on a variety of machining processes and equipment
Program and setup CNC equipment such as lathes and milling machines with little or no supervision
Performs machining processes in accordance with policies and procedures
Manufacture and measures parts, making required adjustments on tools to ensure conformance to requirements based on print and/or quality plan
Read and interpret planning data and blueprints or drawings necessary to complete assignments
Change tools when needed
Perform paperwork as directed
Perform de-burring processes and protocols if needed
Responsible for keeping work area and machine equipment in clean and organized condition
Performs preventive maintenance checks per instruction if required
Follow all job-related work instructions and policies
May be required to work overtime and/or weekends to meet the company’s operational needs
Regular attendance is an essential job function
Qualification
Required
Proficient in the use of math in the interpretation and execution of drawing requirements
Thorough working knowledge and understanding of CNC machining
Working knowledge of GD&T
Able to follow procedures and direction, with attention to details
Strong problem-solving skills in relation to machining processes
Able to work as a team player
Preferred
Experience in Mastercam/Featurecam a plus
Experience with Fanuc controls a plus
