Responsibilities
Help coordinate and deploy software on Windows Server 2019 environments
Learn skills related to web application deployments into different environments
Monitor and maintain Windows updates across virtualized servers
Ensure ransomware prevention software and machine level firewall settings are setup for maximum protection against threats
Perform light reporting tasks inside of a Microsoft SQL environment integrated into Power BI
Pull data from Azure Dev Ops environment to create reports for the management team
Monitor notifications for site outages and report to Project Management and development team
Work on standardizing server reporting to maintain required items up to date
Learn to debug and deploy software to servers for clients
Handle internal development deployments to the team
Manage users and groups in active directory
Manage permissions across the organization
Coordinate backup and disaster recovery plans
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of Microsoft Server
Familiarity with Active Directory
Understanding of computer hardware
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to type at 60 WPM or better
Troubleshooting experience
Base understanding of SQL queries
Associates or Trade School Degree in a technology related field
Experience installing Microsoft Operating Systems
Understanding of basic Boolean logic
Experience communicating directly with the team and potentially clients
Preferred
A+ Certification
Network+ Certification
Familiarity with HTML/CSS
Familiarity with JavaScript or C based programming languages
