Responsibilities

Oversee daily and month-end closing processes related to cash receipts
Ensure accurate records, reconciliations, and control reports are maintained
Monitor variances, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
Define, develop, and implement accounts receivable and collections policies and procedures
Recommend and implement improvements to daily cash application processes
Communicate work procedures, expectations, and priorities to team members
Delegate, review, prepare, or assist with internal and external audit schedules as assigned
Perform other related duties as assigned
Interview, hire, train, and onboard team members
Plan, assign, and direct work activities
Evaluate performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development support
Address employee concerns, resolve issues, and enforce company policies

Required

5–7 years of related experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
Demonstrated people management and leadership skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
Ability to learn and use organization-specific financial systems
Ability to calculate discounts, interest, and related financial figures
Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
Ability to develop and interpret business reports and graphs
Ability to solve practical problems and manage multiple variables
Ability to interpret written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
Some travel is expected
Regular use of hands for handling, typing, and operating office equipment
Ability to sit for extended periods; occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds
Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
This role is primarily performed in an office or professional work environment

Preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
