Responsibilities
Develop and communicate robust EM rates and FX strategies and trade ideas, grounded in comprehensive macroeconomic, political, and market research across emerging markets
Monitor and analyze central bank policies, geopolitical events, and economic indicators to assess impacts on EM currencies and rates markets
Collaborate closely with sales, trading, and research teams to integrate FX strategy into client solutions and trading execution
Produce clear, timely market commentary, strategy reports, and presentations tailored to both internal stakeholders and external clients
Contribute to the development and refinement of quantitative models and scenario analyses to support EM rates and FX forecasting
Represent Société Générale as an expert in emerging markets in client meetings, industry forums, and media engagements, reinforcing the bank’s thought leadership
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in economics, Finance, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in FX and rates strategy, macroeconomic research, or related fields with a focus on emerging markets
Deep knowledge of emerging market economies, political risk factors, and regulatory environments
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and matrixed organization
