Credit and Revenue Junior Analyst
AMLI Residential is a leader in sustainable luxury apartment communities, and they are seeking a Credit and Revenue Junior Analyst to drive strong application approval rates while minimizing exposure to bad debt and fraud. This role involves assessing applicant creditworthiness, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and supporting revenue operations and credit & collections.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Provide support in the application screening process utilizing the screening ticket system
Work closely with the Credit and Collection Analyst to provide needed support and relevant training specific to screening policies for RSG and on-site team members
Assist with identifying, tracking and communicating fraud trends throughout the portfolio
Provide feedback to the Credit and Collections Analyst and Revenue Director with identified trends or recommendations for improved credit requirements, screening criteria, procedures, and screening systems as appropriate
Assist and provide feedback to the Credit and Collections Analyst and Revenue Director in streamlining current processes to improve and/or effectively mitigate risk
Assist with periodic reporting on key metrics, as well as review of scorecard assignments
Follow up on additional collection agency requests by working closely with the RSG (Resident Services Group) and on-site teams
Review and ensure accuracy in accounts sent to our collections partner
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve pricing-related issues including responding to email inquiries when requested by the Revenue Director
Collaborate with cross-functional team to generate renewal offers in the Renewal Cheque system and enter pricing updates into Control Center when requested by the Revenue Director
Audit revenue system alerts periodically to ensure compliance and accuracy when requested by the Revenue Director
Assist with our corporate housing strategy and partner relationships by providing quotes and screening providers
Qualification
Required
Travel: Travel is required approximately 10-20%
COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Office; Advanced Microsoft Office Excel required. Ability to learn and adapt to new software applications quickly is also required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required; bachelor's degree is a plus. Minimum two years' relevant property management experience, or equivalent, required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent use of hands and fingers is necessary for tasks involving gripping, lifting, or manipulation of materials and objects, including computer keyboards. Employee must be able to talk and hear on the telephone. The employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
Preferred
Experience with Entrata property management software and ResidentVerify is a plus
Knowledge of industry related screening and/or fraud products is also a plus
