Responsibilities
Independently manage a caseload of personal injury cases from inception through resolution, including conducting client interviews, case evaluations, and developing litigation strategies
Provide compassionate and effective representation to clients, ensuring their needs and interests are prioritized throughout the legal process
Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance companies to secure favorable outcomes for clients
Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations
Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on case progress and inform them of their legal options
Work collaboratively with the legal team to share insights and strategies for case management and advocacy
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the Texas State Bar and in good standing
5-10 years' experience in a personal injury law firm is highly desirable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities
Proficiency in using office software and database systems
Proven aptitude for identifying issues and developing effective solutions to keep cases on track
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Strong negotiation skills and experience
