This role is responsible for executing the Ardent Risk Management Program, developing risk management activities, and supporting patient safety and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

The Facility Risk Manager is responsible for the execution of the Ardent Risk Management Program across their facility/facilities

This position develops and supports facility-level risk management activities and programs

This position will manage the Risk Management needs across the facility, including risk management policy and procedure implementation, risk identification and mitigation, provide risk management-related education, support, and event investigations

This position will also support patient safety and quality activities as needed

Required

Minimum of 1 year of healthcare risk management

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Windows applications and other systems

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Ability to plan, develop, and present programmatic materials in front of an audience greater than 20 people, including senior leadership at the facility and corporate levels

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, utilizing excellent organizational and follow-through skills
