Responsibilities
Deliver high quality products at competitive cost. The position oversees the day-to-day process engineering function including managing short- and long-term projects related to process safety, quality improvement, new product introduction, and product & process equipment validation
Executes engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost
Liaises with other stakeholders to provide professional support and advice
Leads and manages a team of process engineers to implement projects and improvements in the area of responsibility
Monitors KPIs for engineering processes and drives continuous performance improvement
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise
Acts as a member of site leadership team
Qualification
Required
BS or MS degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
Minimum 8 years' experience in chemical manufacturing industry, or equivalent relevant experience
excellent project management, leadership, people management & communication skills
Preferred
SAP knowledge preferred
Six Sigma certification preferred
