Responsibilities
Provides courteous and prompt telephone service while demonstrating a high level of customer service skills
Operate an electronic switchboard to route incoming calls and to place outgoing calls
Provide directory information to internal and external inquirers
Demonstrate the ability to answer and extend multiple calls efficiently
Maintain a daily list of all facility staff on-call, including home phone numbers and beeper numbers readily available
Knowledgeable of departments and services available in the facility, and of emergency codes to be used over the PA system
Qualification
Required
High school or GED
Minimum of one year experience on a PBX console or answering service
